Fast Combat Power Growth Guide

There are several ways how you can get stronger in Loot of Baal, this guide will cover them and provide additional tips for faster growth and gold farming.

Ways to Increase Combat Power

There are four main methods to improve your overall combat strength:

1. Clear Higher-Level Stages

Continuously farm progressively higher-level stages to obtain better gear that matches your current power level.

2. Recruit Higher-Grade Mercenaries

Visit the Tavern to hire mercenaries.

The higher the base grade (D → S), the better their starting stats and growth potential.

3. Level Up Your Mercenaries

Each level-up grants an overall boost to all attributes, improving survivability and damage.

4. Upgrade Skills

Spend gold to increase skill levels in real time as your character levels up.

Each skill can be raised to a maximum of Level 40.

→ Even after reaching the skill cap, you can further enhance skills using gear that grants +X to skill level bonuses.

Fast Leveling Strategy

During the early-to-mid game, if you're stuck, it’s recommended to farm earlier stages repeatedly to gather XP and gear.

Once you reach the area near Collapsed Caverns, a stage named Darn Underground River becomes available. This stage provides a high amount of experience and is considered the most efficient place to level up in early game.

Note: If your character's level is 10 or more levels higher than the stage recommendation, the XP gain will be significantly reduced.

Gold Management Tips

Gold is scarce early on, so it’s important to use it wisely:

1. Prioritize Skill Upgrades

Skill upgrades directly boost combat efficiency.

2. Invest in Mercenaries

Once the Tavern system is unlocked, use gold to recruit stronger allies.

This increases your overall battle power and helps you farm more efficiently.

3. Expand Your Warehouse

Use gold to unlock additional storage slots and prevent loss of valuable gear due to limited space.
